Was married for 17 1/2 years and have two great children from it; boy 14, girl 11. I was In the US Army after graduating HS. I later got out of the Army and went to college. I graduated with a 4-year degree in Social Work with a minor in Women's Studies...yes, you read that right. Dean's list all four years, inducted into the college's Honor Society, and graduated with honors. I later was invited to apply for the job that I currently have and the rest is history.

I've lived all around the world. 3 yrs in Germany, twice. 2 yrs in Korea. total of just under 3 yrs in Southwest Asia (Saudi, Kuwait, Iraq). From the East coast, South, and West coast. I've moved around just about every 3 to 4 yrs my entire life and can't see that changing any time soon. I love to travel!!

So about me? I try to find a reason to smile every chance I get. I love humor and tongue-in-cheek comments. Pretty much a goof-ball. Life should be fun shouldn't it? I'm laid back and try to take each day as it comes. I'm just at home watching a DVD, going out to eat, hitting the club, or seeing the outdoors.

I've got a huge collection of music. I listen to just about everything! My faves are Hair metal from the 80's and, believe it or not, disco. There's just something about music that's all about having a good time and loving one another...lol.

I'm 21 years old. I love reading, writing and filming. I'm an animal lover. Especially for dogs and cats. I also enjoy camping and shooting.

I freely admit to being a nerd. I enjoy watching anime, reading manga and cosplaying. I'm not super hardcore. I just have fun with it. Being a dork makes life so much more interesting and I do enjoy the weird looks I get from my family.

Despite being a dork I can act like a normal person. Sort of. I suppose that depends on your definition of normal. LOL. I love the beach and am thoroughly disappointed in myself for not having been for several years. I can hold an intelligent conversation. I enjoy friendly debates and exploring differences in opinions.

I am very close with my older sister. I tell her almost everything and I spend a lot of my free time with. She is insane, but in the fun way.

I also love learning foreign languages. I suppose it's a bit odd for a hobby, but it is fascinating for me. I'm currently learning Japanese, Korean and Mandarin Chinese.

I am a typical Eastern Washington, Yakima Valley man. I was raised in Wapato were I helped my dad every summer on the family farm. I graduated from Wapato High School then attended YVCC were I obtained my A.A. I then tranfered to CWU were I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in the field of Law and Justice, double majoring in Law Enforcement and Correction. After college I was a volunteer firefighter with the Yakima County, and did that for a year. I was later highered on by Y.C.D.O.C were I have worked for over five and a half years. Three years into my career I was foolish enough to take a test and became a Corporal.

During my time through college and work I have met a lot of interresting people. I have even had the chance to go out with a few of them. I have had a few relationships were they were good, and bad. I just got out of a 5 year relationship about 7 months ago and it's now time to see what's out there for me.

I'm currently going to community college for my AA transfer degree... I think! I'm a very indecisive person. I have really really high standards in women... probably why I haven't had a girlfriend in 2 years!

I'm just a normal girl that likes to do the normal things. I'm more of a tomboy than a girly girl. I want to go paintballin, skydiving and I'd love to go dirt biking. I'm very open to new experiences. I like to play my 360 and some games on pc. I just started going bow hunting with my gramps for deer and elk. I also go bird hunting. It's not just for sport... we eat what we kill. I like to watch football games with the family. I love to ride horses, go camping, fishing, and be outdoors. I enjoy picking morel mushrooms in the summer up in the mountains with the fam... then having a canasta night after fryin em up! I love to sing in my car with the music loud, in the shower or when I'm cleaning. I am an avid reader. I love most fiction books, and I can get lost in a series for days. Lets see . . . where should I begin?

I'm 25, a college graduate. I've been in the workforce for about a year.

Most people I know will say that I'm a quieter person, especially in group settings. I'm usually listening to others, and pondering what they say. I'm definitely a "man of few words" I have a habit of trying to get my point across in as few words as possible.

I would consider myself a 'nice guy,' and am usually pretty easy to get along with. I attend Church every Sunday, and can that faith is an important part of my life.

Note to all: At this point I'm into a "friends first" situation or "activity partner" and happy to see how things develop... or not.

Also, please note that I don't list a few things, but here is my take on them. Body type... you decide. Drugs... I don't, but really don't mind if you do as long as it's nothing serious like heroin. Income... I make enough to have a mortgage, pay my bills, and put away a little each month. Other than that you shouldn't be overly concerned with my income.

I'd like to build custom furniture and work in ceramics and metal work... all for home furnishings for a living (Long term goal, I'm working on it but still need my 9-5 for now.) Alternative careers would be owning a bowling alley, coffee shop, breakfast joint, pizza place, or pool hall.

I'm an east coast transplant, but have been out west for more than a decade now. I've lived in both Portland and Seattle. I've also lived in NY state. I really miss lightning bugs, don't seem to have too many out here. My family is still there, and despite being far away from them, we get along great. Family is very important to me.

I enjoy the little things in life... I am a special education teacher at East Valley High School. This is my 10th year there and I love my job. I love the staff and especially the kids.
I have 2 grown daughters, 3 grown step-sons, and 11 beautiful grandbabies. After I graduated from high school from Sunnyside, WA, I married my high school sweetheart. In the time we were married, we had 3 wonderful, beautiful children. Our son was our middle child and our only son. At the age of 3-1/2 years old, my precious little boy was diagnosed with a very rare type of cancer. Through many years of surgeries, chemo and radiation treatments, he gave up his fight at the very young age of 7. No parent should ever have to bury their child. My first husband and I were actually married 22 years. We were together still 11 years after our son died. After the divorce, a few years later, I married my soul mate. My Joseph dealt with many health issues over the almost 14 years that we were married. July, 2008, I lost my precious Joseph.
With the love and support of my five beautiful children and my mom, they have made me realize that life is too short and precious for me to just be sitting around my house, feeling sorry for myself, or indulging myself into my work all of the time.

I have a very severe case of TOURETTE SYNDROME. I am currently composing a book on Tourettes Syndrome. This book will possess extremely comprehensive extrapolations of the neurological, physical, biochemical, psychological effects of Tourettes and extensive narrations on all these multiple states of Tourettes Syndrome. I also deeply investigate upon the general micro-sociology mechanics and interwoven aspects of ALL these states that are related to the vast dimensionality of what Tourettes Syndrome embodies.... I am eager to gather questions of ANY kind or nature for the concluding chapter of my book. This chapter will be a QUESTION and ANSWER section intended to further educated the reader with very candid insights into this terribly misunderstood disorder.

BTW... to save the question I get most often... YES, I DO CURSE INVOLUNTARILY!! I have very extreme VOCAL TICS of many types... For the record ONLY about 7-10 Percent of people with Tourettes even have these vocal tics... I am one of the lucky ones... see you already know a fact about Tourettes that is ALWAYS misunderstood and if the topic ever happens to come up you now can correct somebody and get to feel intellectual superior... sweet huh?

Tourettes is a Neurological Movement Disorder mostly, it is GENETIC BTW and NOT a Psychiatric disorder and has chemical mechanics in the brain very akin to schizophrenia... Tourettes produces mainly Motor Tics, I for example have very violent and severe Motor tics which can look like intense seizures every few seconds to minutes...

I am a very active person, always have something going on, and something to do. I can't stand just sitting around. I have a four year old son, who is with me every other week, and is the most important thing in my life. I love music all types, and will have something playing almost constantly. I love art and photography, music, hiking , biking, camping, the outdoors, fresh smells, family, friends, kids, and especially the ladies. I don't judge anyone, I'm loyal, romantic, I have a good sense of humor and I'm loving and caring.

I own a total gym. I love my mother, she is awesome ..... most of the time. I love the outdoors and doing things outside! Camping, Hiking, Driving, Gardening. You name it? I'm probably up for it. I can cook. I can dance to a certain degree. I have a brain and am in search of someone that can hold thier own end of a conversation! I enjoy intellectual stimulation. At one point in my life, I believed that I could have been the heir to the throne of Antarctica. Then someone gave me some caffeine, and I decided that no one needs to live there, and I could remain happy for the rest of my life if I could just continue to have this wonderful substance. Sure, they want me back, but most penguins have yet to discover the means for long range naval ANYTHING, so I just assume I'm safe for now.

Beyond all of that, I'm a generally nice guy with an odd sense of humor. Occasionally, I'll enjoy the classic "dick and fart" jokes, and sometimes making a clever or witty comment on the socioeconomic climate of the USA will get me to laugh just as hard. However, I give the humor that I get, and so if I find you think something was funny, I'll throw it back at you. Also, I will remind you of how funny I am at the oddest moments. Don't question it. Chances are, I just got really bored.

Also, I feel like I should let people know that yes, I am in a relationship (going on 5ish years now), I am still available. Both <<April84L>> and I identify as people who practice polyamory. Basically, she sees who she wants, and I see who I want. It's not a "until we find that perfect someone" scenario. <<April84L>> has been great at advising me in the past on how to solve problems and communicate with people, as she's a lot more political than I am in that respect. I'll probably ask her about you, if you want to date. You don't HAVE to deal with her, but understand that she's an important part of my life, and you are not replacing her.

Please don't try to make me choose between her and you. To put it simply: You. Will. Lose. I don't do ultimatums, and I feel very strongly that if you're going to offer one, you better be prepared to answer what the "Or Else" is, and whether or not you are willing to follow through. Trust me when I say that if you aren't, I am. Chances are, we could probably still be friends, but I have lost many a girlfriend to that game.

Please understand that I view relationships as something very specific to the two people involved, and if someone is uncomfortable with that, then I'm sure the little box in the corner has a someone who's similar to me. Talk to them. I'm sure they'd like that.

Also, I feel I should point out that even though the above comes off a little rough, I try to be nice about it. If you require a monogamous relationship, then please message me about being friends. I just find that the best way to handle things is up-front and honest.

Now that those less thought about things are out of the way, understand that I am very straight forward. If I think you're being retarded, I'll usually say something. The more entertaining side of that is that I'll do the same thing to myself.

Also, I am a nerd. This means that I do nerd things. I'm comfortable with that. I understand that table top RPGs is something people do on nights when most normal people are out getting laid. It's cool. I also like to spend time painting little metal people so I can pretend that they're horribly slaughtering each other. Some people play Frisbee golf, and this is what I do for fun.

Finally, I'm fairly open, so you can feel free to ask me anything. Anything beyond the craziness I've already stated is something that may help you and I get to know each other. And really, that's what this site is all about, isn't it?

Oh, let's see... Born and raised on the west-side of the state, I moved here in 2007 to finish college. Got a good job afterwards, and am waiting until the right moment to leave.

Hey, I really have a hard time talking about myself but here it goes. I am 35 and I love hanging out with my friends, they are the BEST! I am very laid back and love to laugh. I think the world is way too serious, but don't get me wrong I do know when to be serious. I enjoy just about all kinds of music and movies. I would have to say that comedy movies are my favorite. I like racing I have a couple of friends that race at the Renegade and when in season that is where you will find me. I am pretty much down for anything.

I am a Christian and Christ is the center of my life! I have direction and hope because I have Jesus! I am pretty easy-going, I like to laugh and have fun: I love board games, movies, books, music, sports, and seeing and exploring new places. I am passionate about helping people and animals! I am pretty quiet at first, but when I get to know someone I really open up!

I like taking my four wheeler out and having fun. My hobbies are movies, driving, photography, camping, jeeping and spending time with my family and my two obnoxious dogs that I absolutely love. I am really easy going, not much of a girly girl but not a total tomboy either. I know how to play dress up or get dirty. (not like that get your mind out of the gutter.) I moved to Yakima about 6 months ago and still haven't really discovered much of a scene. I'm here for 6 more months and would like to connect and makes some friends in the time I have left here.
